RIP Maxxwel Piolunek
Maxxwel Piolunek is a 2022 graduate of NFA and played close defense for NYLA starting when he was in the 5th grade, before moving on to play at NFA. He also played for the Shoreline Sharks club program before playing in college afterwards. Maxx also helped coach our youth players in recent summers.
He passed unexpectedly on Wednesday. NYLA extends the deepest condolences to his parents Crystal and Brian (who also coached with NYLA).
